3/14/20: Meeting Tomorrow!

Hi, family. Itโ€™s been quite a week, and, as the news surrounding the Coronavirus continues to intensify, we want to remind ourselves that God has given us a spirit of love, not fear. During this time when there is so much anxiety in our community, Christians can be living testimonies to the peace that God offers each and everyone of us through His Son.

And itโ€™s in that spirit of love and not fear that, after prayerfully considering the ramifications for our physical and spiritual health, ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ด๐—ผ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ:๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฑ๐—ฎ๐—บ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฝ ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฑ.

We know the importance of the church during this moment and thatโ€™s why we want to strive to leave our doors open as long as we can.

That said, there are a few of things we are going to ask of you to keep each other healthy.

First and foremost, if you are sick, please stay home. We love you and, while we generally encourage sharing, germs are one thing we donโ€™t want you to pass on. We will be posting a video of the morningโ€™s sermon at 10:45 on Facebook and at greenfieldchurchofchrist.org/health for you to study with, and we encourage you to text (317) 207-2734 to let us know how you are doing and so that we can bring you some groceries or anything else you may need.

Second, when youโ€™re here, wash your hands (sing the first verse of Jesusโ€™ loves me to make sure youโ€™ve washed long enough), use the hand sanitizer we have around, and find a new way to greet people other than a hand shake or a hug. Iโ€™ll be trying out the elbow bump all morning.

Finally, donโ€™t stop praying. Pray for those who are sick, those who are anxious, those who are disappointed and fearful about work and other events being put on hold, and that God will be glorified through all of this.

If you are feeling well, I canโ€™t wait to see you in the morning so we can lean on God together for guidance during this anxious time.

Brandon
