Now more than ever we need the hope that only Jesus can offer. That's why this Sunday, May 10 and Sunday, May 17 at 10:45am we are going to come together, open His Word, and praise Him in the Greenfield Church of Christ parking lot. We will also continue our online services at 1pm. It will look different from how we normally worship, but it is so important that our worship continues right now and that we keep finding new ways to focus on and share the good news about Jesus.
In order to keep ourselves and our community safe and healthy and in accordance with the guidance from Indiana's governor, we have a few new instructions for this week's service:
Feel free to get out of your car if you’re comfortable doing so but keep a safe distance from others. There will be pre-packaged containers of communion bread and juice available at the entrances of the lot and on the table by the front door that you can drive thru and pick up. You can also pick up a flower there for our mothers or for you to take home to your mom.
The bathrooms in the North Wing of the building are open. You can find those just by walking inside the glass doors.
If you’re ready to follow Jesus, make sure we know. You can call or text us at (317) 207-2734 or honk, turn on your hazards, whatever it takes. We’re ready with a safe option if you want to be baptized today.
Praise God! He is in control right now, just like He always is, and with Him we will get through this time.
We’ll continue to open up God’s Word, sing His praises, remember the Lord’s Supper, and go to Him in prayer, now we can just do it together again!
The logistics of how we come together are going to continue to change, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated as those decisions are made, but through all of this God is constant and we can’t wait to praise Him for that this Sunday with you.
A live stream of this service will be available at https://www.facebook.com/GreenfieldchurchOfChrist/live. You will be able to view the stream even if you don't have a Facebook account.
